About Meadows Homes

·Our History·
Meadows Homes is the largest independently owned and operated manufactured housing and system built modular home retail operation in the State of Tennessee. Since it first opened its doors Meadows Homes has operated with the philosophy that the key to success is customer satisfaction.
Meadows Homes opened its first location in 1983, in Cookeville, Tennessee. Founded by Donny Meadows and his wife, Debi, the company got its start through the acquisition of an existing manufactured housing retail center.
Just five years later in March of 1988, Meadows Homes opened a second location in Cookeville creating a new niche in the market. Through its' new location, Mobile Home Liquidators, the company would now offer used and factory close-out homes.
Over the next decade, Meadows Homes would open four more Tennessee locations in Lebanon, McMinnville, Nashville, and Sevierville.
During that same time period, Meadows Homes established a new company in Crossville, Tennessee, called The Home Connection. In 2005 the Nashville location was moved to Pulaski and renamed Modular One Factory Outlet.
In March of 1993, Meadows Homes celebrated 10 years in business with over 2,000 homes sold. Five years later on its 15th anniversary, Meadows Homes celebrated with more than 4,000 homes sold.
On March 1, 2003, Meadows Homes celebrated 20 years in business and more than 15,000 homes sold. Today in 2008, we have been in the business for 25 years and are still the largest independent retailer of mobile homes and system built modular homes in Tennessee.
